The Interactive Science Classroom 

It's not always easy to offer your students hands-on activities. This depends on resources, time and the set up of your classroom. 

 

Explore Learning has created "Gizmos", which give students the chance to learn through manipulation. The website offers Gizmos for every grade level and strand for both science and math. Each Gizmo is hands-on, involves manipulating variables, and is interactive. In each Gizmo, there are student quizzes and activities, and lesson plans are offered to teachers. 

 

Every teacher in Ontario has a free account and classroom code, so your whole class can use Gizmos. You can also create class lists with the Gizmos you want to use.
